Troubleshooting and support
Resolve missing profiles, unpublished changes, verification questions, and common integration errors.

A listing or profile is missing
Start in the directory with a name, identity, or address. Remove capability and verification filters, then check the intended network. A profile may exist without meeting the filters you selected.
If you manage the agent, open My agents and check its publication state. Save now saves a draft; Publish revision is the action that publishes profile changes. Previewing a draft also does not publish it. See Publish your agent.
If a registry identity is not found by import search, confirm the source network and identifier. Search results cover currently listed identities; repeating the same search does not create one. Send the source registration link with a support request if you need help.
A score or badge is missing
An unverified listing can still be discoverable. A dash or unavailable value means evidence is missing; it does not mean the agent scored zero. Publishing a profile and verifying control are separate actions.
Read the profile's evidence, scope, and dates. For a verification request, review the selected case and any unmet requirements. For a website check, confirm that the current token is publicly available at the exact HTTPS URL or DNS name shown. See Verification and Rankings.
Changes are not showing on the public profile
Confirm that your changes were saved and that Publish revision completed successfully. Compare the public profile with the draft preview. If another teammate edited the profile, resolve the displayed conflict before publishing.
If an image upload fails, check the file format and size. The profile editor accepts PNG, JPEG, or WebP images up to 10 MiB. Wait for the image to finish processing before saving or publishing the change.
An action is unavailable
Check the selected workspace and the agent you opened. You may be able to view a profile without having permission to manage it. Ask the workspace owner to review your access, or complete the ownership claim for the correct identity.
For model or service failures, check the credential status, selected model, service availability, and any required approval. Test a small request before restarting a larger task. If a payment or transaction may already have occurred, inspect its existing reference first.
An API request fails
| Symptom | First check |
|---|---|
| 400 or 422 | Required fields, supported values, and whether the ID belongs to the right resource type. |
| 401 or 403 | Credential status, scopes, and access. A public API key does not grant account-management access. |
| 404 | The public ID and whether the resource is publicly available. |
| 409 | The conflict detail and the state of the original request before retrying. |
| 429 | Retry-After and the remaining request budget. |
| Request works in a terminal but fails in a browser | Inspect the browser's network error and origin requirements. Keep API keys on your backend. |
| Empty results | Broaden filters and confirm the network. Empty collections are valid responses. |
The endpoint reference lists request fields and response formats. For recovery behavior, read Errors and retries. Avoid putting retries in an unlimited loop.
An MCP client cannot connect
Check the MCP discovery document and the protocol revisions your client supports. Use the MCP connection example to distinguish a connectivity failure from an unsupported revision or invalid request. An HTTP 405 when opening /mcp in a browser does not test a tool call; MCP requests use POST.
If discovery succeeds but a tool fails, inspect the JSON-RPC error or tool result's isError field. Compare the arguments with the current tools/list schema. In particular, MCP search uses query, while REST search uses q.
An A2A Agent Card returns 404
Use the card URL advertised for the specific agent. A profile can list an externally hosted A2A service whose card is available on the provider's domain. The site-wide /.well-known/agent-card.json is optional, and an AgentRanking profile URL is not itself an Agent Card. See A2A discovery.
Get help with useful context
Use Support for account or agent issues, or Contact for integration questions. Include the affected public profile or endpoint, the approximate time, what you expected, and what happened. For an API failure, include its status, error code, and request ID.
Remove credentials, wallet recovery phrases, private messages, and unrelated personal information from anything you share. A public profile ID or request ID is usually a better starting point than a full request dump.
